Bon, vous le savez j’ai tenté de devenir une runner pro en commençant la course à pieds il y a quelques mois, Certes, ma motivation est plus qu’aléatoire et je n’ai jamais dépassé les 5 kilomètres et évidemment en crachant mes poumons … je n’ai jamais aimé courir mais mon corps de trentenaire commence à me dire que je devrais commencer à faire attention … Bref, tout ce blabla et quel rapport ? Hey bien si je me suis motivée à commencer la course c’est surtout car on m’a proposé de participer à la COLOR ME RAD de Lille qui aura lieu ce samedi 3 juin 2017 à 11h au stadium de Lille métropole à Villeneuve d’Ascq Retrouvez plus d’infos et les inscriptions par ICI. Au début je ne voulais pas, moi je ne cours pas et j’ai pas envie de me ridiculiser avec tous ces gens qui courent comme des gazelles et moi qui devrait lutter à soulever mes fesses durant 5 km Puis en discutant autour de moi, tout le monde me dit que c’est plus festif et que ce n’est pas une question de chrono mais bien plus de fête etc, donc bon si c’est pour faire la fête et ne pas courir 5KM en luttant comme un éléphant ça me va ! Alors pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas , le Color me rad, s’inspire de la fête traditionnelle venue d’Inde Le Holi Le Holi c’est autrement dit , la fête des couleurs en Inde, cette sublime fête célébrée lors de l’équinoxe du printemps et lors de la pleine lune , cette fête est surtout connues pour ces pigments qu’ils se jettent en guise de protection, car on ne le sait peut être pas mais chaque couleur à une signification , le vert est l’harmonie le bleu la vitalité ou encore le rouge pour la joie … Cette fête très joyeuse à donc été retranscrite un peu partout notamment dans des festivals de musique électro ou comme ici avec le color me rad … Le but est de parcourir. 5 km en se jetant de la poudre colorée , suivi d’une fête avec dj etc , en gros c’est un peu un Holi version sportif et fun !! L’organisation fournis un tee shirt, des lunettes, des sachets de poudre et un dossard, le tout sera à retirer quelques jours avant la course … On espère juuuuuussstttteeee qu’il fera beau ! Donc si comme moi t’aimes bien le concept mais que t’aimes pas courir bah vient avec tes potes et passe un bon moment, et n’oublie pas de manger une banane avant de venir … CONCOURS Tu n’as pas encore de places ???? pas grave, en partenariat avec le color me rad de Lille on organise un CONCOURS ! Lacolor me Rad 5k France en est à sa deuxième saison et se déroule dans de nombreuses villes françaises. C’est à Villeneuve d’Ascq, au mois de mai dernier que Matthieu Courtois a réalisé une série de portraits de participants à cette course haute en couleur. You'll dress up in sparkling whites with bright color accents in preparation to become a human work of art. You can't help but smile as you and your favorite people get ready to run with color. HEALTHY After a morning with Color Me Rad your glutes will be tighter and your outlook be will be brighter. Throughout our 5kish course you'll go through 5 color stations where you'll be covered in color powder. You can run or your can walk. You can work towards a goal or you can wing it. Color Me Rad gives you the perfect excuse to exercise whether it's your first 5k or your 50th. TOGETHER During our Color Celebration you and your tribe will create colorful memories that will last a lifetime. We'll be waiting for you when you cross the finish line to celebrate your 5k with COLOR! We'll do group color throws every 10-15 minutes, throw out tons of free swag and celebrate together with the best people in Virginia Beach. FAQ Is there an age limit? We welcome all ages, even those still in the cooker. Kids aged eight and older must register as adults, and all minor participants must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Is Color Me Rad safe? The safety of our runners and employees has always been our top priority. Our color is certified non-toxic and cornstarch-based with food-grade dyes, but as with any substance, you won’t want it in your eyes. All Color Me Rad volunteers receive strict instructions to throw color below the head, but as an extra precaution, many runners opt to wear sunglasses or goggles, and the occasional bandana over the mouth and nose while passing through color stations. We want everyone to be as safe as possible, so if you are allergic to corn or food dye, participation in Color Me Rad is strictly off limits. If you are pregnant or have other health concerns, consult with your doctor. What time should I arrive? In a perfect world, we recommend you get there about 30–45 mins before your start time. This will give you wiggle room should you encounter traffic, choose to shop at the merch tent, or stretch out before the run. If your location utilizes shuttles, you’ll want to give yourself even more time. We’ll send you an email and update your Facebook event page with details should your location require unique instructions. Can my family and friends come watch and cheer me on? We love supportive cheerleaders! Our only stipulation is that they stay off the actual running course for their safety, and the safety of our runners. We have various forms of color for sale if they want to join in the color throws post-race and get messy with you. Where do I park, and is there a charge? Please check your location's site and Facebook event page to get all details on parking. You will also receive an email 1-2 weeks before the event with further details. I lost something at the event, what do I do? All lost items are taken to our check-in tent. If you’ve already left the venue, you can email us at help to help find any missing objects! What if I can't make it to packet pick up? Don’t stress; someone else can pick up your packet for you, they just need your printed or digital ticket or information with them. If you don’t have any friends willing to help out, we provide one final option packet pick-up on race day. This last resort is not without consequences, however, as lines tend to be extra long on race day, so plan accordingly, and arrive at least an hour early. Can I bring my pet cat,dog, or lizard? We love your pets, which is why they aren’t allowed. For the safety of pets and all participants, please leave your furry/scaly/slimy/squawking friends at home. Participation will be prohibited should they tag along. Service animals are allowed, but please bring required paperwork of proof. Is Color Me Rad A Non-Profit? Color Me Rad is a for profit business. That said, Color Me Rad has a long and rich tradition of working with and supporting local non-profits. Here's how it works...in each city Color Me Rad does an event they select a charity partner to work with. In exchange for a donation, the local charity provides volunteers for the event. Since 2012, Color Me Rad has donated over $3,000,000 to various charities across North America. What do I wear? Our color appears most vibrant on a clean white backdrop, so make sure whatever you wear is eligible for a tie-dye, as staining is not uncommon. You’ll receive a Color Me Rad t-shirt with your registration, but we like to keep those as mementos for after the race. We’ll have lots of Rad-branded options available including white tees, tanks, and tutus for purchase at packet pick-up and on race day. Does the color come out? The powdered color is washable, and should easily wash off of skin and out of hair. Can I sponsor or become a vendor at Color Me Rad? We’re always interested in partnering with companies and individuals that add value to our events! We have vendor booth spaces, sponsorship packages, and performer packages available.
